Every watch is serviced before it goes online, and covered for a full year after you buy it.
What is covered
Every watch comes with a one-year warranty. You receive a warranty card with your watch. The warranty starts on the date of purchase.
Before it goes online, every watch is serviced, tested on a timegrapher and regulated to within 20 seconds a day in all test positions.
The warranty covers the timekeeping and the working of any complications. Vintage movements are sensitive to how they are worn and stored, so for warranty purposes a mechanical or automatic watch is considered to work correctly when it runs within about one minute a day.
What is not covered
- Water resistance
- Broken or lost glass, crown, winding stem, mainspring, pushers and similar parts
- The strap or bracelet
- Damage from a fall or knock, or from dirt or moisture inside the watch
A word about water
Most of our watches are 30 years or older. We recommend keeping them away from water. Wearing one in water is at your own risk.
